It's probably not exaggerating to suggest that the majority of people like to be organised. Some of us are better at it than others, but it also comes down to how organised we like to be. For example, do you long for (or have?) a wardrobe arranged by colour, a workspace of carefully labelled and tidy shelves, a strictly timetabled day? Or does the thought of any of these fill you with horror, and all you'd really like is to be able to get to work on time most days? When does being organised spill over into OCD? And if it does, is that a problem?
In the end, it's the usual balance issue. If it suits you, if it's not causing problems for you or those close to you, if it's not preventing you from getting on with your life in the way you'd like (rather than enabling you), then that's really all that matters. Other people can choose to be as organised or disorganised as they like, as long as that doesn't start to encroach on your life and vice versa. It cuts both ways - as a highly organised person, you don't have the right to dictate to others how to arrange their lives, but as a highly disorganised person you don't not have the right to expect others to sort out the messy consequences.
